In light of a rather misinformed comment made to me, I must bring to bear my opinions concerning the 'futility of politics.' Really? Is it so unnecessary? How could it be? I say no. Without our 'futile' politics and governmental system, we are simply no more than dogs. Think of a life without any form of government. Truly free. Our baser human instincts take over, and even then there is ALWAYS a leadership system, no matter how rudimentary. NO group of individuals can exist together without some form of pecking order. At all. The reason we are, as humans, superior- such a harsh word- to other species is our cognizance. Our ability to perceive. It lets us notice weakness, and react. Usually, by working together. Whether we notice it or not, we do react to each other unconsciously. Governments are not only necessary, they are imperative, and again, develop whether we like it or not.
As to the question of "Are we really free? Is America not controlled to heavily by our government?" I say no. Shut the fuck up. If you'd rather live in Ukraine, a veritable police state, and live raising goats with Aunt Vladivostok, be my guest. The United States is more free than we, the citizens, know. We've come to expect it. Billions of humans like ourselves around the world envy our American freedoms. Just to go throughout a day without eyes looking over your shoulder is a dream.
Just think about it the next time someone bitches about the "OPPRESSIVE GOVERNMENT!"

Cosmic Proportionalism
/rant
Here I am, yet again, existing in this plane of perception we call the universe. Carl Sagan has once again changed my view on the world, and he's done it quite profoundly. I now see these... cosmos as a vast, mind-bogglingly infinite, erm, universe, in an equally infinite plane of dimensions. Weird. I know I sound like a stoner, but I'm not, I promise. It does, however, really make one think about the possibility, nay, truth of extraterrestrial existence. And just how small we really are. Really, REALLY, REALLY small. I just got the chills. Whoa...

Thoughts on a Suggestive World, vol. I, Cars
As I was working on a '66 Chevy today, I found myself giggling. Why? Because the Earth is filled with innuendos and sexual references. You don't even have to dig. My favorites? I'll give you a few.
- "Lube this up so I can stick it in."
- "Poke your finger in and see if you can feel the bump"
- "No, no, no. You've gotta twist the nipple, and the goop will come out the top."
Beginnings
Welcome. Here you will find the musings of a dangerously addled mind. Coupled with a love of cooking, computers, juvenile humour, and a poignant distaste for the conservative, I make myself known.
